MBS Delegation visit to Brazil

Brazil centre hosted an academic delegation which brought together some of the University’s most senior colleagues with our partners FGV to explore future research opportunities.  The group, led by Fiona Devine, Head of School, visited Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo from 2nd to 6th March.

The purpose of the visit was to raise MBS profile with its local partner (FGV) building links for future collaborations in teaching, research and executive education.  It also provided opportunities for our students, alumni and the British business community in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro to engage the School and visiting faculty members to build up awareness of MBS activities in Brazil.

Besides working sessions at FGV, the delegation attended a drinks reception hosted by the British Consulate-General in Rio and an event at the British Chamber of Commerce in Sao Paulo.
It was great to meet to many interesting people and having our alumni and students with us in such a special occasion!
